Chris Damato brought his hydrolocked '95 auto TT to us for a performance engine build using the HKS2530 ballbearing turbos, GD Inconel manifolds, cams, portwork, wiseco pistons, 740cc injectors, GD downpipes, Z1 testpipes, etc etc (Chris will be specifying his total mod list in his profile - Aziator). Wrenchwork was performed by Josh White of Z1 Motorsports. Job well done, Josh! On a DynoJet chassis dynomometer at Higgins Ford Performance at 20psi on 93 octane pump fuel and 25psi on VP110 race fuel, tuned with the ZEMulator, this car performed beyond Chris's expectations. The car produced 555RWHP and 517RWTQ at 20psi on pump fuel with an A/F ratio of 11:1 and 597RWHP and 569RWTQ on VP110 race fuel with an A/F ratio of 12:1. Keep in mind that this is also an automatic transmission which has a little more drivetrain loss than a 5speed. These turbos are also genuine HKS2530 turbos with a .64 A/R on the turbine housing; these are not "disco potato" turbos, which have an A/R of .86.
We also took video of this dyno session which will be posted soon with the other videos from sunday's dyno session (Peacemaker, 215RWHP NA, and Lorca Devale's PE1420 TTZ).
